CLINICIAN: Chad Sivewright
Chad Sivewright is Mount Vernon High School’s head boys volleyball coach, where he’s built a program rooted in discipline, teamwork, and relentless pursuit of improvement. A Mount Vernon graduate himself, he blends a deep understanding of the sport’s fundamentals with a commitment to his players’ academic and personal growth, regularly sending athletes on to compete at the collegiate level. This season was one of the most memorable as Coach Sivewright led the team to a 17-11 record and were finalists in the OHSAA Division II state championship. Further, Coach was awarded the Ohio High School Athletic Association Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award.
CLINICIAN: Heather Barbour
Heather Barbour was a Division I Volleyball player and student assistant coach at Kent State University. She was a Club Director and coach for Highland Juniors Volleyball Club for 4 years. She currently is the physical education teacher here in Mount Vernon at Columbia and Twin Oak Elementary Schools.
