Future Cougars Soccer Camp is designed to provide an affordable, high-quality soccer experience for players of all skill levels. Whether your child is taking their first steps onto the soccer field or has years of playing experience, our three-day camp is structured to help every participant develop their skills, build confidence, and grow their understanding of the game!
Each evening will focus on a different technical topic and how it can be applied in real game situations. Camp activities are designed to maximize touches on the ball while creating a fun and engaging environment that fosters a lifelong love for soccer.

RULE Cougar Basketball Development League

Season Dates: October 29th - December 19th
The RULE Cougar Basketball Development League is skill-focused and includes a 3v3 or 4v4 six-game schedule, complemented by four weekly skill clinics, held over the 2026 late fall/early winter basketball season. The league is for children in 2nd-6th grade and each registered player will receive a reversible jersey. Clinics will take place on Thursdays at 6:00 pm beginning October 29th and gamedays will begin November 7th taking place on Saturdays in the morning/early afternoon (exact times will be communicated throughout the season). Jared Ronai
Jared Ronai is entering his tenth season as the head men’s basketball coach at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU). During his time with the program he has guided the Cougars to over 18 wins per season in 8 full seasons and a Covid shortened season, with two national tournament births in 2019 and 2022, including a Sweet 16 appearance and a tie for the school record for wins-in-a-season with 27 in 2019. Over the past eight years the program has also achieved numerous Top-25 rankings in the National Polls, including Top-10 rankings in 2018-19, 2019-20, rising to has high as #4 in the country. Before MVNU, Ronai was the recruiting coordinator at Division 1 UNC Asheville and associate head coach at Division 2 Ashland University. Ronai played collegiately at Georgia Southwestern State.
Kristin Ronai
Kristin Ronai, wife of head coach Jared Ronai, is the Associate Executive Director for the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). Kristin is a University of Dayton Hall of Famer as is considered one of the best woman’s basketball players in program history. She also played in high school at Warsaw River View, winning two State Championships as well earning two Miss Ohio Basketball awards.
Junior Cougars Running Club

The Junior Cougars Running Club presented by MVNU Cross Country is led by Coach Simon Taylor (MVNU Head Cross Country Coach), Morgan Welch, & Evan Hodkinson. The program focuses primarily on distance running and is for kids in 3rd through 6th grade. Leaders of the program utilize fun games and challenges to help young runners get an introduction to the world of cross country.
Run time at "The Loop" each week will be a total of one hour with some take home assignments that will get young runners into the practice of running on their own at home as well. The program will run for 6 weeks and take place on Wednesdays from 4:45pm-5:45pm. Each participant should bring a water bottle and running shoes.

Simon Taylor was named the head coach of the MVNU cross country programs on July 2, 2019, after having spent two seasons as an assistant coach of the MVNU cross country and track and field programs under Wilson's leadership beginning in 2017. Taylor took the lead on recruiting for the program and stepped up his involvement with the program when Wilson was named Director of Athletics in December of 2018.
In addition to being head coach of the cross country program, Taylor is an assistant with the track and field program.
Taylor is originally from Deshler, OH and prepped at Patrick Henry High School. Taylor joined the MVNU cross country program in college, and is a member of the inaugural track and field team when the program was revived in 2015. Taylor was a three-time recipient of the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, and was also a three-time member of the Crossroads League Academic All-Conference team.
