Junior Cougars Running Club
-
The Junior Cougars Running Club presented by MVNU Cross Country is led by Coach Simon Taylor (MVNU Head Cross Country Coach), Morgan Welch, & Evan Hodkinson. The program focuses primarily on distance running and is for kids in 3rd through 6th grade. Leaders of the program utilize fun games and challenges to help young runners get an introduction to the world of cross country.
Run time at "The Loop" each week will be a total of one hour with some take home assignments that will get young runners into the practice of running on their own at home as well. The program will run for 6 weeks and take place on Wednesdays from 4:45pm-5:45pm. Each participant should bring a water bottle and running shoes.
