Why RULECougar development league? We want kids to touch the ball more, play in more space, and make more decisions.
RULECougar Development league will create:
MORE TOUCHES: More dribbling, passing, shooting, and opportunities to develop ball skills.
MORE SPACE: Players learn how to create, cut, drive, and play without crowding the floor.
MORE DECISIONS: Every player is involved and learning how to read and react on the floor.
MORE DEVELOPMENT: Players build skills while developing a better understanding of how to play the game.
What are principles of play? Each team will teach the same thing. 3 principles on offense. 3 principles on defense. Let’s learn how to play the game.
Our philosophy is simple:
Give kids the ball. Give them space. Let them make decisions. Let them have a blast.
